Years ago I heard stories of the cops slapping handcuffs on the bride and groom co-workers. I heard of a van dismantled and rebuilt in the living room, or on the roof. I heard of someone taking all of the toilets out of the house while the honeymooners were away.

1993 We lived in Las Vegas. Our prank on my brother-in-law inspired this webpage. I've been collecting wedding prank stories, information and links ever since.

Guess what we did at Mark's brother's wedding. Decorated their truck as is normally done, including the rope swung across the back of the truck with the toilet paper roll barely touching the street so it unrolled as they drove. That was good.

Then at the reception I ended up to be the only single gal to catch the bouquet (Mark and I weren't married yet). Ahhh! I wasn't the only one! I ran behind the bride's over 90 year old grandmother and held my arms over the seated woman to catch the bouquet and smoothly move it into her lap!

This was better. Mark and Paul's stepfather at the time gave us these ideas. He had baby powder in a plastic mustard bottle already for us cuz he and Grandma Betty had to leave. While everyone was in the reception, we put vaseline on the inside door handles. Then we sprayed the baby powder into the air vents. While the car was off, we set the air and fans at high.

We let everyone know that when the happy couple was to leave, there would be a show.

We had to leave.

We learned later that the bride's family eagerly urged the happy couple to get going. They sat in their car, turned it on, heard a soft whoosh, and a 12 foot high white powder cloud flew into the air. Then their hands slipped off the indoor car handles cuz of the vaseline.

Paul vowed to get revenge. He hasn't yet.  12/20/97 Paul said they were removing baby powder and glitter long after the wedding.
